The Early Childhood Professional Training is be a unique professional development opportunity for CPS early childhood teachers to gain critical knowledge and training in the areas of early development using the Baby TALK model. Given the uniqueness of the training – specifically, the intensive seminars, the reflective application assignments, the onsite mentorship/coaching, and community network elements – it will be critical to evaluate participant progress. In doing so, the quality and utility of such professional development programs can inform future program development.
