Meet the Teacher - Karen Hurley

Karen Hurley teaches Kindermusik classes for Baby TALK. Karen has years of experience interacting with children as a Kindergarten and First Grade teacher for Decatur Public Schools for many years. She and her husband have one daughter. In 2010, Karen had the joy of helping her daughter set up her Kindergarten classroom for her first year of teaching in Nashville, TN.

Karen leads Baby TALK Times at the Forsyth Library the first and third Wednesday 9:30-10:15am. Her love for children, compassion for parents and passion for encouraging parent/child interactions is evident in her interactions with Baby TALK families.

Kindermusik International presented Karen the Kindermusik Certificate of License at the completion of her Kindermusik training March of 2007. Karen loves sharing her love for music with the families enrolled in Baby TALK's Kindermusik classes.
