It is our goal that through this booklet we might provide you with a resource for the early years of parenting. We know from our own experiences that good information makes parenting easier.

We also know that sharing books with babies can bring great pleasure, and we wanted to share with you some ideas that we've gathered on how to do that successfully. Here are some of our favorite beginning books, books to read to your baby as he grows into a toddler and young preschooler, beginning books to whet his expanding appetite for the feast of good books that awaits him in the library.
