About Baby Talk
Baby TALK began in Decatur, Illinois in 1986. While Baby TALK has grown to replication in many other states and cities, the Decatur local program provides rich programming and services to families and serves as a demonstration program for other communities.
Baby TALK is a national model for supporting families of very young children.
Baby TALK reaches families through collaboration with

- literacy programs
to deliver services to which are accessible and meaningful to families' needs. Baby TALK provides encouragement, information, activities and children's books through a variety of service delivery methods.
Baby TALK has a large demonstration program at the home site in Decatur, Illinois.
Baby TALK supports professionals working with families with training, consultation, curriculum and parenting materials.
